About Baccarat Bro

Who we are, how we make money, and why we put player education before promotion.

Baccarat Bro exists to do one thing well: tell the truth about baccarat. The internet is full of gambling sites that promise winning systems, hide the odds, and push you toward whichever casino pays them most. We built the opposite — a clear, honest, expert resource that respects your intelligence and your money.

What we believe

Baccarat is a wonderful game — fast, elegant, and one of the lowest-edge bets in the casino when you play it right. It does not need to be dressed up with false promises. Our entire philosophy is that an informed player is a better-served player: if you understand the house edge, the rules, and why no system can beat the game, you will make smarter decisions and have more fun. We would rather lose your click than mislead you.

Who writes — and who checks

Every guide is written by a specialist in its field. A quantitative analyst and a mathematics PhD handle the odds and strategy; a money-management writer owns the bankroll guidance; an iGaming reviewer writes the casino reviews; and a responsible-gambling advocate covers player safety. Named experts, writing only where they’re genuinely qualified.

Then every page crosses one desk before it goes live:

  • Baccarat Bro — the pen name of Daniel Tay, a former casino baccarat dealer from Singapore who has dealt and played the game since 2003 — reviews and signs off on every guide. He’s the reality check: thousands of shoes seen from behind the table, making sure the theory actually matches what happens on the floor. Nothing publishes without his tick.
  • Native translators and writers carry every guide into our six other editions — Thai, Vietnamese, Malay, Indonesian, Lao and Korean — so nothing is lost, or machine-mangled, between languages.

Meet the writers, the editor and the translators on our authors page — every article carries the full credit line: written by, reviewed by and, outside English, translated by.

How we make money — disclosed plainly

Baccarat Bro is free to read, and we fund it through affiliate partnerships with a small number of licensed casinos. If you sign up through one of our links, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. We only feature operators we consider reputable, and — this is the important part — a partnership never buys a better review or changes the facts we report. Our review standards are spelled out in full on our methodology page.

Who we are for

We write for players across Asia and beyond who want a straight answer. Whether you have never sat at a table or you have played for years, our goal is the same: give you accurate information, clearly structured, so you can enjoy baccarat on your own terms. Our guides are available in multiple languages because good information should not stop at a border.

A word on responsible play

Because we are honest about the maths, we are also honest about risk. Baccarat is entertainment, not income. We build responsible-gambling guidance into our content rather than burying it in a footer, and our responsible gambling page lists free, confidential support services. If the game ever stops being fun, please use them.
