How We Review Casinos

Our 14-point process for rating safety, payouts, games and fairness.

Trust has to be earned, and on a gambling site it has to be earned twice over. This page explains exactly how we research our guides, how we review casinos, and where our numbers come from — so you can judge our work for yourself. If we ever fail to live up to these standards, hold us to them.

How we research our guides

Our educational content — the how-to guides, odds pages, and strategy articles — is built on established, verifiable facts about the game. Probabilities and house-edge figures are checked against independent gambling-mathematics authorities, and the rules we describe are the standard punto banco rules used in casinos worldwide. Where a figure could vary by table or variant, we say so rather than presenting one number as universal.

How we review casinos

Every casino we feature is assessed against the same fixed checklist, so reviews are comparable and consistent. We weigh the factors that actually protect players and affect the experience:

What we check Why it matters
Licensing & regulation A valid licence from a recognised authority is the baseline for player protection.
Security & data handling Encryption and sensible privacy practices keep your money and details safe.
Game fairness Certified RNGs or genuine live dealers, and published rules and payouts.
Baccarat offering Range of tables, limits, commission and Tie payout terms, live-dealer quality.
Banking Deposit and withdrawal methods relevant to our regions, speed, and fees.
Bonuses & terms Real value after wagering requirements — not just the headline number.
Support Availability, languages, and responsiveness when something goes wrong.
Responsible-gambling tools Deposit limits, self-exclusion, and easy access to help.

How affiliate relationships work — and don’t

We earn commission when readers sign up through some of our casino links, and we disclose that openly. What a partnership cannot do is buy a higher rating, a softer review, or a place we don’t think it deserves. We apply the same checklist to partners and non-partners alike, and we will state a casino’s weaknesses even when it pays us. If we ever cannot recommend an operator honestly, we simply won’t feature it. This is covered further on our about page.

Keeping content current

Gambling facts change: bonuses are revised, terms are updated, and operators come and go. We date our articles, review them periodically, and update them when the facts move. Evergreen maths — like the 1.06% Banker edge — does not change, but anything time-sensitive is checked and refreshed. Each page shows when it was last updated.

Corrections

We are not infallible, and we would rather be corrected than wrong. If you spot an error — a figure, a rule, a stale detail — please tell us through our contact page. We investigate every report and update the page when warranted. Accuracy is the whole product here, and reader feedback is a core part of how we maintain it.
